Every first Thursday of the month, SPIE AUTOMATION colleagues from hardware and software come together after work to connect and do something together.

Pfullendorf, August 4, 2025 – The idea for this format comes from our software team in Pfullendorf, which organizes the Techie Meetup once a month after work. It’s not about work, projects, or deadlines, but about getting to know each other better, engaging in conversation, and having fun together.

How it works at the Techie Meetup
There’s something for everyone at the Techie Meetup. Whether it’s relaxed summer evenings barbecuing at Seepark Pfullendorf, exciting races at the go-kart track, or cozy evenings bowling and dining together – it’s always about coming together, exchanging ideas, and leaving the daily routine behind. What’s especially nice: Even colleagues who work remotely make sure to be there.

Why it’s so valuable
Every meeting provides an opportunity to get to know colleagues from a new perspective. Conversations often reveal that many have more in common than one might assume in everyday work. That’s exactly what makes the meetup so special: No matter what area someone comes from – here, everyone is on equal footing.
