E.FLEX Modules

E.FLEX BASE

The E.FLEX BASE basic module can be operated with various tools that perform simple as well as complex tasks. E.FLEX BASE offers standardized interfaces for additional modules.

E.FLEX BASE makes the cobot locationally flexible.
E.FLEX BASE can easily and quickly handle new tasks and is ideal for manual work steps.
E.FLEX BASE is the base to which other modules can be quickly arranged. It is the foundation for a reconfigurable automation system.
E.FLEX BASE is a standardized production module and therefore cost-effective, yet quality-assured. Long ramp-up and optimization phases are obsolete.
E.FLEX BASE immediately indicates its operating status via LED status indicators.
E.FLEX BASE can be operated collaboratively without additional protective enclosure. It offers accessibility and process reliability.

E.FLEX SORTER

The E.FLEX SORTER module reliably singulates small bulk parts from a bunker and provides them to the production process correctly oriented and on time. Singulation is achieved using a vision system. This ensures maximum flexibility in part geometry, fastest changeover times for parts, and highest reliability.

The parts (e.g., screws or bolts) are transported from a storage unit onto a vibrating plate and separated from each other. The vision system detects the position of the parts and provides the information to the cobot of the connected E.FLEX BASE.

E.FLEX SORTER singulates and aligns parts of various sizes and shapes.
E.FLEX SORTER learns to handle new parts and desired processes in record time. This means the module pays for itself very quickly.
E.FLEX SORTER offers absolute process reliability, even with complex part geometries.
E.FLEX SORTER does not require elaborate mechanical separation systems. Simplicity and flexibility are unsurpassed.

E.FLEX FEEDER

The E.FLEX FEEDER module supplies up to 5 containers (600 x 400 mm) to the E.FLEX BASE basic module. As soon as a box is filled or emptied, E.FLEX FEEDER lowers this box, moves it to storage, and makes a new box available. E.FLEX BASE is standardly mounted on the E.FLEX FEEDER module. Both control systems cooperate seamlessly. Task changes do not require elaborate setup procedures.

E.FLEX FEEDER features proven and robust mechanics, is suitable for 24/7 operation, and is resilient in demanding production environments.
E.FLEX FEEDER operates space-efficiently. Completed boxes are stored beneath waiting boxes, minimizing the footprint.
E.FLEX FEEDER can be operated collaboratively without additional protective enclosure. It offers accessibility and process reliability.
E.FLEX FEEDER handles transport containers reliably.
