Pfullendorf, March 1, 2025 – With approximately 400 exhibitors, the trade fair reached a new dimension in size and diversity. Both exhibition halls were completely occupied, so additional exhibition space was created in the West Foyer. For trade visitors from the four-country Lake Constance region and Southern Germany, all about automation provided the most comprehensive offering on industrial automation, robotics, and digitalization in the first half of the year.

SPIE ESCAD Presents Itself with a New Look and Strong Portfolio
Since 2024, SPIE ESCAD has been part of the multi-technical service provider SPIE. That’s why this year’s booth received a complete makeover and shone in vibrant blue and green tones. However, SPIE ESCAD stood out not only visually but also with its innovative portfolio.

“The transformation in the field of automation is progressing rapidly”, says Thorsten Kulik, Head of Lightweight Robotics and Intralogistics at SPIE ESCAD. “Our partners like Mobile Industrial Robots or Universal Robots keep an eye on this and always move with the times. For us, this guarantees that our robotics portfolio is always up-to-date.”

In addition to various robotics demos, visitors to the trade fair at SPIE ESCAD could also discuss current engineering projects or try out innovative solutions from the field of digitalization.

For example, Head of Digitalization, Mark Oliver Passauer, presented the latest features of the SPIE ESCAD product E.RAMP, an analysis and monitoring software for robot fleets.

“The more data a company collects and the better its quality, the better automation solutions can be adapted to the customer’s needs”, explains Mark Oliver Passauer. “Even if the economy is currently going through a difficult time, in my opinion, now is the right time to invest in such solutions. As soon as the upturn comes, many will not have time to deal with it and will easily lose out.”
