Grown together - together into the future

We take a look at our merger: What we have achieved, what we still plan to do, and with what feeling we are heading into the future.

Pfullendorf, October 15, 2025 – A merger is far more than a purely organizational merger. It is a process that challenges minds and hearts – and, in the best case, welds them together. Less than a year ago, we decided to form a joint company from several strong branches of the multi-technology service provider SPIE – SPIE Automation GmbH. Today it is worth looking back – and forward.

What we have already achieved
A lot has happened since the official starting signal: systems have been merged, processes coordinated and teams reassembled. Peter Herr (Pfullendorf) finds it very positive that the family is growing and Michael Kröhn (Niedernberg) emphasizes that things can now be implemented together for which one had to fight alone before. Peter Kraus (Haßfurt) emphasizes that SPIE AUTOMATION can now get better conditions from partners and suppliers and Thomas Strohmaier (Pfullendorf) is looking forward to further expanding cooperation with his new colleagues.

New opportunities and possibilities
The merger has not only been successful on paper, it is beginning to take effect in everyday life: in projects, in new forms of cooperation and in a common understanding of what makes us SPIE AUTOMATION.

The merger opens doors – for each and every one of us. We pool expertise, open up new markets and can offer our customers more today than ever before.

Conclusion: A common picture gradually emerges from many perspectives
Changes always affect the personal as well. Many colleagues have not only experienced the change on the sidelines, but have consciously helped shape and influence it. A process that is far from over.
