The implementation was carried out jointly by the SPIE AUTOMATION and SPIE ESCAD Austria team. The starting point was an existing project copy that had already been prepared by the client. When adapting the title page, it became apparent that the operating concept had fundamentally changed. WIMO Hebetechnik GmbH then contacted the SPIE AUTOMATION and SPIE ESCAD Austria team with specific information about the desired radio remote control. After receiving the EPLAN-ZW1 file, the detailed work began. Since not all technical details were clear at the beginning, the circuit diagram was constructively prepared – deliberately forward-looking, but without premature commitments. In parallel, it quickly became clear that implementation would not be possible without direct coordination with HBC-radlomatic GmbH. After a few days of feedback, the necessary information and the radio remote control manual were available. Based on this, the planning could be finalized, the circuit diagram adjusted, and the project fully implemented. The result is an unwinding station with an electromechanical roller drive that enables the safe rotation of coils around the horizontal axis. The end of the strip can be precisely positioned – for example, for sampling. Recesses in the rollers and guide rails allow strapping to be attached and removed even when loaded. Integrated forklift pockets ensure easy and safe transport and make the system flexibly deployable.
